
Peyton Sickles is an award-winning North Carolina-based photojournalist, editorial photographer and visual storyteller focusing on politics, portraits, architecture, and rural landscapes. He shoots on film (35, 120, 4x5), develops his own work, and has an affinity for vintage cameras and plein air photography. Peyton is a climber and outdoor adventurer, a member of the NPPA, and chocolate milk aficionado.
Clients include WUNC, NPR, Chatham News & Record, Mad Rock, Dwell Magazine, Chapel Hill Magazine, The Assembly, Bloomberg Weekly, and Apple. When not working on his own projects, Peyton assists Kennedi Carter on various shoots for clients such as GQ, Vanity Fair, Men’s Health, New York Times, and more.
